The coastline of the Pagasitikos gulf is dotted with remote pebbled coves and dramatic slabs of grey rock if you fancy a day of sun and sea far from the madding crowd. There are also the islands of Alatas, Prasouda and Trikeri to explore by boating and kayaking, all three have ancient monasteries and crystalline waters.
The best way to get to these places is to either rent a small boat with an outboard motor or if you wish to glide through the waters in absolute silence, then kayaks would be ideal. Both are available for rent in nearby Milina village less then 5km away.
